If you don't agree, don't use the app.2. LicenceWe grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use GroceryLens on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.3. Your data, and your responsibilityGroceryLens stores your receipts, items and price history on your device — and in your own private iCloud, if you enable it.You are responsible for your device, your Apple ID, and for keeping your own backups. We hold no central copy of your data and cannot restore it for you if it's lost.4. Subscriptions and paymentGroceryLens offers paid features through an auto-renewing subscription.Free allowance. You can add up to two receipts free without subscribing. This is a one-time lifetime allowance for people who have never subscribed — deleting a receipt doesn't return allowance. Adding receipts beyond that requires an active subscription.Billing is by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase. We don't process or store your payment details.Auto-renewal. A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that point.Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.Free trial or introductory offer. Where offered, this applies on the terms shown at the point of purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.Refunds. App Store purchases are refunded by Apple under Apple's policies. Separately, you keep all rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law — see clause 8.5. Acceptable useYou agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, don't reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app except where that can't lawfully be restricted; don't use it to break the law; and don't interfere with its normal operation or with the reference data it downloads.6. Price information is a guide, not adviceGroceryLens helps you understand your own spending. To do that it also shows reference information, including a grocery price index derived from Australian Bureau of Statistics data and, where enabled, advertised specials.Index movement figures are GroceryLens's own calculations from published ABS data. They are not ABS figures and not official statistics.
Advertised specials and any prices shown are indicative only. They may be out of date and may differ by store and by time. Always check the current price in store.
The Service is a budgeting aid. It is not financial, tax or dietary advice. Decisions you make using it are your own.
